I saw a video on a tech companies site that claimed

“If you don’t have a product that is built on AI, that is self-learning, evolving with the context of your company, evolving with the market, you can’t actually effectively build a future-facing strategy.”

Like, dude, do you not know what humans do?

I’m so over AI, and people claiming that humans aren’t capable of building things.

But…

One of my favorite things from the outburst of AI is the pockets across the internet of people who refuse it and who are dedicated to grow their actual creativity and not let their mind grow lax by creating awesome things.

Let’s do a quick mind exercise.

What if LOTRs was written by ChatGPT?

Obviously, that would be impressive, but the context of Tolkien’s life and historical context would be completely removed. The tapestry of someone’s experience leaks into the things they create, and that makes their art more colorful and interesting.

What if Steve Jobs was an algorithm?

Stories and honesty are important for businesses. Imagine hearing that the new iPhone was made using AI. I wouldn’t care. Imagine hearing the new iPhone was made my some dude in his garage who found some new breakthrough tech. Now that’s interesting.

Human innovation and creativity > AI anytime.
